Amref Ethiopia Celebrates Global Handwashing Day

Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia’s Urban WASH Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme celebrated Global Handwashing Day event organized together with the Addis Ababa Regional Health Bureau on the 25 October at the Addis Ababa City Administration Hall.

During the event, Addis Ababa City Mayor, representative from FMOH, Dr Kessete Berhan Admassu, Ato Girma Ashenafi, Head of Addis Ababa Health Bureau, the donor communities and other high level guests attended the event.

The youth and kids from the Addis Ababa Youth and Children Association performed drama and music celebrating the importance of proper handwashing.
