We Are at World Water Week in Stockholm to Promote FINISH Mondial

WASTE, Amref Flying Doctors and Aqua for All are working together on local sanitation market development through the FINISH model (Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation & Health).

Through health awareness creation, demand creation, sanitation marketing, financial inclusion and loans, as well as mason and business training, we ensure that:

  • People are aware of the need for a safe and durable toilet
  • They want to buy one
  • Which local people are prepared to build
  • They can afford to do so

The Directorate-General for International Cooperation (DGIS) shall, together with WASTE, Amref Flying Doctors and Aqua for All outlined their vision and ambition for scaling sanitation and attract private financing for FINISH Mondial during the World Water Week in Stockholm on Tuesday the 28th of August and Wednesday the 29th to engage with different corporations for scaling safe sanitation, financial inclusion for improved health and the circular economy towards 2030.

FINISH (Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation & Health) Mondial is a partnership between the NGOs WASTE, Amref Flying Doctors and Aqua for All. The partnership scales safe sanitation through Public Private Partnerships (PPP’s), thereby contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 6. Within this partnership Amref Flying Doctors focuses on the African countries. If you want to know more about FINISH Mondial check out this>> Infographic
