ITIC Global speakers announced

We are pleased to announce that the first wave of speakers are now confirmed for the 27th annual ITIC Global, which will be taking place in Malta this October.

Speaking at this year’s Global conference, James Paige of AIG will share insights into identifying supplier fraud and abusive practices, alongside Dr Sundeep Dhillon of MAPFRE; Estelle Lebar of Shift Technology and Yury Kuvshinov of Mains Lab are to tackle insurer counter-fraud efforts, discussing the most effective techniques to detect and combat fraud; Brad Dance of TUGO Insurance is to speak about mental health coverage and assistance; while both Dr Cai Glushak of AXA Partners and Dr Bettina Vadera of AMREF Flying Doctors will examine pricing structures in the air ambulance industry.

Dr Charlie Easmon of Your Excellent Health Service will speak on short- and long-term health risks; Estelle Lebar of Shift Technology and Berna Atac Okten of Marm Assistance will look into insurtech, and how technology can help improve business working processes; John Armstrong of Allianz Care will assess the current risk rating models used by underwriters; and Dale Buckner of Global Guardian will speak on data security risks to business travellers.

The last of the first wave of speakers confirmed are Michael L. Frank of Aquarius Capital, who will speak on trends in healthcare fraud, movements in healthcare insurance in the US and internationally, as well as trends in reinsurance; Patrick Schomaker of European Air Ambulance, who will look at improving the air ambulance commissioning process; and last but not least, Juan Pena Nunez of Healix International, Saul Shanagher of beTravelwise and Bruce McIndoe of WorldAware, who will be sharing insights into the changing risks impacting travellers.

More speakers will be confirmed over the coming months and you could be among them.
