Janga la Corona limeathiri watu wengi ulimwenguni kote kiasi cha kutoweza kujipatia mahitaji ya msingi kama vile chakula.
Hata hivyo kuna wale ambao wanajali watu kama hao kama vile wakfu wa “Jackson” na kampuni ya burudani inayojulikana kama “Kubamba Krew”.
Asasi hizo mbili zimungana na kuanzisha mpango unaojulikana kama “Jenga Jirani” kwa lengo la kuchangisha pesa za kusaidia walio na mahitaji baada ya kuathiriwa na janga la Corona.
Na sasa wameandaa tamasha ambalo litapeperushwa kwa mitandao ya kijamii wikendi ijayo ambalo linalenga kuchangisha milioni 100.
Jackson Jonathan ambaye ni mwanzilishi wa wakfu wa Jackson alihimiza wakenya wajitolee kusaidia wenzao huku akiahidi kwamba kutakuwa na uwazi kuhusu matumizi ya fedha zitakazokusanywa.
Alisema wameshirikiana na shirika la AMREF ambapo pesa zote zitakazokusanywa zitawekwa kwenye akaunti ya AMREF kisha waunde kamati ya ushauri kuhusu njia mwafaka ya kutumia pesa hizo kugusa maisha ya wakenya walio na mahitaji.
Wanamuziki kadhaa wa hadhi ya juu nchini Kenya watatumbuiza kwenye tamasha hilo na wanajumuisha Nyashinski, Khaligraph Jones, Samidoh, Juliani. Mercy Masika na Erick Wainaina.
Wachekeshaji kama vile Eric Omondi na Mc Jessy pia watakuwa pale kutumbuiza.
Tamasha hilo litakuwa la tarehe saba na tarehe nane mwezi huu wa Novemba mwaka 2020 na unaweza kufuatilia matukio kwenye tovuti ya Jenga Jirani.
