Amref Tanzania and CGK Africa Connect Launch “Now Action Podcast” to Empower Youth andPromote Health Awareness

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – 25 March 2026 – Amref Health Africa in Tanzania (Amref Tanzania) and CGK Africa Connect Limited (CGK Africa) have signed an MoU to co-produce the Now Action Podcast, a youth-focused platform that uniquely links practical career guidance and entrepreneurial education with open discussions on health challenges relevant to young people.

The collaboration leverages CGK Africa’s expertise in mentorship, coaching, and youth engagement, alongside Amref Tanzania’s Afya Studio multimedia facilities and technical health knowledge. This partnership ensures that the podcast delivers high-quality, actionable content uniquely tailored to inspire and equip youth to make informed decisions about their careers and health, bridging critical gaps between health education and professional development.

“By combining our health expertise with CGK Africa’s innovative youth engagement platform, we aim to empower young people with knowledge that not only drives personal growth but also encourages healthier lifestyles,” said Dr Florence Temu, Country Director of Amref Tanzania.

“Now Action Podcast is an exciting opportunity to reach young people across Tanzania, sparking conversations that blend entrepreneurship, leadership, and practical health guidance,” said Naomi Mattary, Managing Director of CGK Africa Connect Limited.

The podcast will be produced in professional-grade facilities and distributed across multiple media platforms to reach both urban and rural communities. The collaboration also seeks sponsorship and partnership opportunities to ensure sustainability and wider impact.

The MoU, effective March 2026, outlines joint responsibilities for content creation, production, and dissemination, with a shared commitment to high-quality programming and community engagement.
