In Africa, more than 315,000 children die every year from diarrhoea diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Globally, deaths from diarrhoea caused by unclean drinking water are estimated at 502,000 each year, most of them of young children. Amref Health Africa continues to work hand in hand with communities it serves to better their quality of life as together they strive to build a bright future for the continent.
