Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, 17, hugs a girl when she becomes the mother of Queen Mathilde

Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium looked completely at ease when she accompanied her mother and held an adorable baby during a royal visit to Kenya.

The 17-year-old then smiled at her mother, 46, cooe about the child wearing a knitted orange hat with a white jacket and white dress.

Princess Elisabeth wore white jeans, trainers and a pink top for the visit to AMREF Child Protection and Development Center, in Dagoretti, Nairobi.

This is the first official trip abroad for the heir to the throne who currently has a break from her school in Wales, reports the Brussels Times.

The crown princess, on the right, chose bright white jeans and a pink top for the visit, while her mother, on the left, put on a checkered pantsuit and a slightly heeled brown shoe.

For the outing today, Queen Mathilde, who was the honorary president of Unicef ​​Belgium for ten years, wore a green and yellow patterned pantsuit.

De Koninklijke combined her striking outfit with some brown shoes and a shoulder bag with a large button detail.

Queen Mathilde opted to lower her hair while her oldest child, Princess Elisabeth, put hers back to keep it from her face.

The young princess could be seen smiling and looking down while her mother laughed during the exchange.

The AMREF Child Protection and Development Center is a community-based non-residential safe, secure and caring environment.

It focuses on children who need special care and protection, especially those who live in street situations.

Yesterday the queen and princess visited the Kakuma refugee camp with about 185,000 refugees from Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan.

The last day of their journey will include a meeting with the local Maasai population tomorrow.

Elisabeth’s three siblings, Princess Eleonore, 11, Prince Emmanuel, 13, and Prince Gabriel, 15, are not with the queen on this royal voyage.

Elisabeth is the first child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde and comes first in line with the succession to the Belgian throne.

When her father joined the throne on July 21, 2013, Elisabeth became duchess of Brabant, a title reserved for the heir.

Elisabeth attends the United World College of the Atlantic (UWC) in Wales and enjoys playing tennis, skiing and spending time with her friends.

In April, Princess Elisabeth went with her father, King Philippe, to a fireman training demonstration in Brussels and even caught a snake.
