High Level Ministerial Meeting on Strengthening Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery from Public Health Emergencies through Amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005)

This event at the 76^th World Health Assembly will bring together Health Ministers from Africa to generate high-level conversations and share information, with the objective of rallying high level support and enhanced commitment by African countries in the International Health Regulations (IHR) amendment. It will also focus on joint commitments to improving pandemic prevention, preparedness and response (PPR), including the development of the new pandemic accord (treaty), as well as strengthening efforts towards mobilizing financial support to countries through the Pandemic Fund.
