Amref’s Celebration of 50 Years in South-Sudan

#AmrefSSudanAt50

South Sudan has experienced protracted conflict before and since gaining independence, the country has made tremendous progress in improving health indicators including low life expectancy and poor access to health services. Amref Health Africa has been instrumental in promoting access to healthcare to the communities by working with government in strengthening health systems, developing human capacity and promoting direct service delivery. For programme interventions that began in 1972, Amref Health Africa takes pride in its 50 years of existence in South Sudan.
