Amref Health Africa in Kenya, Sisu Global Health and Surgipharm have today unveiled a partnership to improve access to blood and safer surgical outcomes during medical missions and emergencies in Kenya.
We were born in a wealthy country, and our parents are white people in good shape. They live in a thriving community and send us to a first-rate school. These factors make us more likely to succeed.
However, there are billions of people living on the other side of these dividing lines. For hundreds of millions of people, their lives are destined to be full of hardships.
Amref Health Africa, with funding from Sternstundene.V., is providing chlorine to the communities in Mzangaya and on Mgwinya Island, but they need a sustainable option. The island has its own unique challenge of transporting drilling equipment.
